Yalda Kazemi is a speaker, author, and mental health advocate/educator aiming to shift perspectives and raise awareness about the realities of mental illness and foster a culture of wellbeing on an individual, family, workplace, and community level.
Yalda has personal experience overcoming severe postpartum mental illness. This led to her mission to be a voice for those who suffer in silence, and to raise awareness and break stigmas associated with mental illness.
Yalda has spoken to audiences around the world and been featured on multiple TV, radios, podcasts, and publications where she shares strategies and tips from her book and lived experience to provide an all-encompassing approach to mental health and wellness.
In this raw and real episode, Yalda shares with us her postpartum journey which included postpartum psychosis. She shares her mission and how we can help spread mental health awareness and support.
