Laurie Moser is the founder of “Staying Active Health & Wellness.” Laurie is an advocate for moms who have teens with mental health challenges. After 7 years in the fitness industry, and after facing these challenges with her own child, Laurie knows firsthand that taking care of ourselves has a huge impact on our ability to care for those around us. Through her online courses coaching and group support program, Laurie provides these moms with self-care tools and a sense of community so they can connect with like-minded moms and with themselves. She helps moms feel calm and create an unshakeable bond with their teen no matter what’s going on in their lives. Laurie is a mom to four kids and married to she describes as the most wonderful and supportive husband.

Dr. Carlos Garcia is a Clinical Psychologist, Coach, Author and Speaker. He is the founder of The Mastery Group and Tampa Counseling and Wellness. Dr. Garcia received his doctoral degree in clinical psychology from Nova Southeastern University and completed his residency at Rutgers University. Dr. Garcia also served in the armed forces as a United States Marine and as a firefighter and paramedic prior to receiving his doctorate degree. He draws on his years of experience in both military and professional organizations to teach individuals how to become more masterful leaders and performers. His passion lies in helping others grow and create meaningful and lasting change in their lives.

Dr. Paula Derry has a long-standing interest in the health of women, especially in positive wellness and self-growth. She is also a Shiatsu practitioner (touch therapy based in Chinese medicine); Independent Scholar with thirty professional publications on motherhood, the menstrual-cycle, menopause, medical decision making, evolutionary psychology and more. Dr. Derry received her PhD in clinical and social psychology from Yale University; Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences Postdoctoral Fellowship in research health psychology; University of California, Berkeley independent study in the zoology and psychology departments. Paula describes “positive health” as a sense of well-being and meaning, comfort with one’s strengths and weaknesses, and more.
