Veronica Bovenzi and Erika Neil join me today to discuss the therapeutic concept of “havening” and the book they just co-published for children called “Auntie Rosa’s Magic Hugs.” Erika is a psychotherapist and trainer specializing in treating trauma and teaching methods for managing stress and strengthening positive emotional states. Prior to becoming a full-time therapist, Erika was a lawyer for abused and neglected children for seven years as well as school social worker for 15 years. Veronica is a coach and hypnotherapist. She teaches havening techniques along with other self-help tools that can empower children and teens to better manage their emotions.
